Peter Norriss

Peter is a skills, training and employability specialist with over 18 years experience of working within the education and training sector.

Peter has worked within a large general further education college, a work based learning provider, a sector skills council and within a central government department within his career.  Prior to joining PwC, Peter worked in economic development for the Skills Funding Agency in equality and diversity and economic development.  

Whilst at PwC, Peter has focused on supporting employers to engage with the skills and training sector, supporting the employer ownership agenda and making skills more relevant to employers needs.

As a Sheffield City Region resident, Peter is passionate about the region and delighted to be leading the Skills Bank, delivering interventions which support growth in the region.
